In practice it became exactly that: notebooks filled in retrospectively, and folders to search through before an audit. easyHACCP takes measurement and documentation out of human hands — from the hardware to the finished report.
Measurement without human involvement
Nobody should have to walk round the fridges every day and write readings in a notebook. The sensor measures and sends on its own.
Sensor built in-house
An ESP32-C3 microcontroller with a waterproof DS18B20 probe — not a rebadged off-the-shelf device.
A reading every minute
The sensor wakes every 60 seconds, measures, transmits, then goes back to sleep.
Deep sleep for battery life
Battery operation is tuned around the sleep cycle, with measured consumption calculations.
Bluetooth setup
